WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CLASSROOM!

 

To tune in to the concept of Healthy and Having a healthy lifestyle, students had a short chat with their neighbour about it, after watching movie. So that they had something to bring in the class discussion.

 

Then teacher led the class discussion to come up with their own understanding about concept of HEALTHY.

Students find more information about each element of health. They work in small group to focus on 1 element of health.  Then they share to others so that they can learn from each other group.

FLIPPED CLASSROOM:  

 

Students receive a simple article to find more information about nutrients contains in foods.  Each of students get 1 focus of nutrients article.  They may learn how to search information from books (article).  They may read, highlight, find the keywords given by teachers on that article, and discuss with parents.

 

On the next day, students activelly share ideas, because they have knowledge from the resources they read at home.  

 

Students work in group based on their interest, to take notes in a piece of paper, then takes note on their own book individually.

To encourage students to be an inquirer.
